On the Night Shift....

Man, a lot of drama at work tonight!! I came to work expecting to be really busy because of fireworks and shots fired calls, BUT it was storm damage that kept it hopping! Then a flood in the building!! Well, not really a flood, but about 2-3 inches of water on the floor making it's way towards the radio room with all our equipment and wiring! YIKES! Some sort of drain was clogged on the 1st floor and was causing water to seep out into the hallway in the basement, YUCK! Here I am with the bottom of my jeans pulled up to my knees, trying to mop out as much water as I can until help arrives. Lovely picture I'm sure, LOL. Anyways, flood is over, and it's almost time for me to go home....about 4 hours left until my weekend OFF!!
